Stoke FM Hide & Go Ski fundraiser supports Revelstoke community radio station

Revelstoke's volunteer-run community radio station, Stoke FM 92.5, is hosting a fundraiser to get you hyped for the snow season and raise funds for the station.

Revelstoke’s homegrown community radio station, Stoke FM 92.5, is hosting a fundraiser to get the community hyped on the snow season and raise funds to help the volunteer-run station keep its focus on supporting the community with programming created by community members about the community.

The station’s Hide & Go Ski contest runs Nov. 5–Nov. 26 is a scavenger hunt for Gnorm the Gnomes hidden a secret spots through the community.

“Stoke FM is celebrating our 10-year anniversary by playing a game with you!” Stoke FM said in a statement. “Think you know or want to know more about this mountain town? Tune in to 92.5 or go onto our website for hints on where to find hidden Gnorm the Powder Gnomes.”

Each week during the contest, station volunteers hide 10 Gnome magnets and keychains weekly all around town. Each gnome is worth 10 entries into a draw, each survey is five entries into the draw and every $25 donated is one entry into draw and will help raise funds for the station.

The contest features tons of prizes including free season passes at RMR and much more.

Stoke FM is also running a community survey that will help guide programming decisions in the coming year. Find details on how to complete the survey below.
