Revelstoke police search for man after bank incident

The Revelstoke RCMP have issued an alert Friday evening seeking a man they want to talk to after an incident at a local bank.

At just prior to 5 pm on Friday April 6, 2018 a lone male walked into a local bank on First Street West and demanded cash. The male was provided with an undisclosed amount of cash and departed the bank without further incident.

Police are looking for a dark skinned male, between 25-30 years of age, wearing a black hat with the Air Jordan logo, noticeable gold chain around neck, right ear piercing, black hooded jacket with lettering on it, dark shirt, dark pants, black and white running shoes, and dark sunglasses.

The male departed the bank on First Street West with an unknown accomplice who was driving an early 2000’s blue 4 door Pontiac Sunfire.

Please ask the public to call 911 immediately if they see the suspect matching the provided description.
