
The Revelstoke Golf Club has hit a hole in one with its combination of great course conditions and a revamped restaurant menu.
Set against a backdrop of mountains, the golf course sparkles beside the Columbia River while the club exudes a relaxed vibe as golfers and visitors cheerfully go about their day.

The club has made efforts over the years to create an attractive product for golfers and families, with reasonable fees, learning programs, a retail shop and an affordable restaurant.
And it looks like this year, those efforts have created a great start to the season.
The golf course is in optimal condition, with the club’s new superintendent, Franz Unterberger, priming it to perfection.
“The golf course is probably in the best shape it has been in years,” Revelstoke Golf Club general manager Dean Jackson said.

Funds were invested into the course from a Tourism Infrastructure grant and this year’s early spring meant the course could be prepped earlier. The result is making the club an attractive prospect for avid golfers.
“Golf courses and golfers, in general, base their golf game on the conditions of the course,” Jackson said. “Ours is a beautiful traditional golf course that is accommodating to all levels.”
The restaurant in the clubhouse has also stepped up their game, presenting the restaurant as a destination for foodies looking for something new or golfers taking a well-deserved break.
Head chef Francóis Morin has created a new menu, keeping the regulars satisfied and piquing the interest of visitors.
