Ahoy lovers of acoustic music! The Rev Coffee House returns Feb. 23rd for what’s likely to be another packed house and great night of music. To feature the evening we have a trio coming all the way from Vancouver to join in on the fun. The three guys pictured here from left to right are named Amos Rosen, Damian Ritchie, and Josh Plouffe, but they are beyond politics. Each of these yokels can make a banjo, fiddle or guitar sound traditional, like you were witnessing in an older time, where people carved more wood and breathed hand made acoustic dance music. Come listen and enjoy! As always, we welcome local performers to share the stage and sign up (starting 7 pm) to play a couple/few songs!
Support local talent!!
$3 door charge for audience
Performers welcome for 2 songs!!
Sign up starts at 7:00 PM
Coffee & treats will be served.
Call for volunteers:
The coffee house wouldn’t exist without the kindness and collective efforts of our community. It runs solely on volunteers donating their time and energy.
If you’re interested in volunteering the night of the coffee house we’re looking for help. Just reply to this ad. We are looking for people to help run the door, the kitchen and to help set up the room at 5 pm – nothing overly strenuous!
We also request the help of kind Revy-folk to contribute their baking to the coffee house cause. If you have the gumption and will power to put on your apron to make some baked goodies for the evening, it will not go unnoticed!
Dear Revelstoke Seasonal Newbies,
Do you play / sing / perform? Are you looking or an outlet or a supportive space to try out and share what you have to offer? Performers get through the door at no cost. The sign up list is first come, first serve, and opens at 7 pm. The event starts at 7:30.
The $3 admission you get to see a feature band / artist / group perform, enjoy coffee, tea and treats at intermission, as well as watch and listen those that sign up to play a ten minute set.
