The owners of Revelstoke’s Craft Bierhaus are hoping to extend liquor service onto a new patio. A city staff report to city council notes the operator of the Craft Bierhaus has submitted applications for a structural change to both the city and the BC Liquor Control and Licensing Branch (LCLB).
A report to city council notes the application for the placement of the patio and associated license to sse agreement is administered at the staff level and has already been approved. Craft Beirhaus staff will be able to serve alcohol on the new patio if the application for a liquor primary structural change through the LCLB is approved.
City staff are requesting council endorse staff comments and recommend approval of a liquor primary structural change with the recommendation that the hours of operation for the patio are restricted to no later than 11 p.m.
Council will discuss the recommendations at its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 10. The city’s input is then sent to the LCLB for a final decision.
