Brief: Revelstoke Fire Rescue puts out fire in Johnson Heights Mobile Home Park

Family escaped with out injury; cause under investigation.

Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services responded to a residential structure fire in Johnson Heights Mobile Home Park on Monday, August 6 just before midnight.

“On arrival fire department crews found the structure and an adjacent motor home fully engulfed,” Roger Echlin, assistant chief said in a statement.

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control. A family of five, along with their pet dog, escaped the structure without injury.

Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services responded with 17 members, two engines, water tender, rescue truck  and two command vehicles.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
