The Revelstoke RCMP have announced an arrest in an April 6 bank incident in Revelstoke.

In a May 14 statement, Revelstoke RCMP said that a 31-year-old Cranbrook man was arrested by RCMP in Cranbrook.

In April, Revelstoke RCMP said the man walked into a First Street West bank and demanded cash. He was provided an “undisclosed amount” and left in a blue Pontiac Sunfire.

Revelstoke RCMP said security camera footage played an important role in the arrest.

The man is scheduled to appear in court in Salmon Arm on May 22, where he’s facing a robbery charge.
